Roma

It was a beautiful day in Rome today. We went for a nice long walk down by the Vatican. Being Sunday there were people everywhere and St Peters was no exception. I wanted to go inside and light a candle but the line was extremely long...next time.

The sky was so blue and the sun was out in full. All in all a great day for a stroll!



Today I got around to listing my Baby Bunny Hat Pattern on Ravelry and Etsy. Hopefully it will sell! Gotta get those 3 kids through college somehow! Haha!

I'm also in the process of writing up the Strawberry Cocoon. Hopefully I'll be able to list that in a week or so. I have a bunch of outside orders for things I need to finish first. It's been a slow week for sales too. I've only sold 1 bracelet and 1 mini purse this past week.
Tomorrow we will fly back to the states. I plan on staying in PHL overnight as I'm off to Frankfurt on Tues afternoon with my friend Mary Jo.....can't wait!

Goofy Weather

Two weeks ago I took some photos of the 6" of

snow we recieved in my back yard. Today I looked out and saw that the same Lilac tree now has buds on it! Hopefully it will warm up soon. We had Tornados go through the area last night. Luckily they didn't come near us.

My Photographer friend sent me this really cute photo of a little one wearing my bunny hat! Isn't he adorable???

and she took some more of my Bear hat and nest:

 

There will be more to follow, she needs to edit them. She used the grey owl too....I can't wait to see that one!

Sunny Day in Frankfurt

What a beautiful day it is here in Frankfurt! It's about 55* and very sunny......not a cloud in the sky.Went for a 2 hour walk around the city.....I don't think anyone works here....there are people everywhere. I also don't think the recession has hit here either, everybody had lots and lots of bags and  the stores were packed. Me...I was just window shopping. I did buy 2 small balls of yarn...couldn't resist the colors...they are for my little bags and maybe for some flowers.
I'm meeting the girls for dinner later. We found this little bar/Restaurant called Toffi's about a 15 min walk away and they have the most wonderful Schnitzel, potatoes, salad and a glass of wine for under 15 euros!

The brown one had a pink bow too but didn't get a photo. My friends are photographing a baby boy today.....I hope to have some professional photos later to post and to use on Etsy. Sales are better that way. I'm also in the progress of writing up the pattern for the bunny hat. I had alot of problems with the ears...I tried them 4 different ways before I got them the way I liked them.

Here is the pumpkin that my friend asked me to do for her...there is also a cocoon coming for this one.
I went to Rome on Sunday...had alot of fun. I got to catch up with a girl I went to high school with that's also a flight attendant. I've never flown with her before so that was fun. We didn't go do any sight seeing because it was raining....next time. The last few weeks have been very profitable at work. I've sold 5 bracelets and 8 of my little bags! And I have a bunch of orders! So I better get busy! Ciao

Driving for hours

We are getting ready to leave to take Jordan back to school in a little bit. It's snowing....yuck! It's almost a 4 hour drive and then 4 hours back and they are supposed to have at least a half a foot of snow or more in NY today. It's going to be a long day.....
Driving in the daylight at least affords me a lot of time to knit. Thank goodness Glenn is driving! I'm working on some really cute Owl baby hats and a hanging cocoon. I'll get some photos tomorrow.
I'm also going to get some paper work done....I hope....I need to put together a price list and descriptions for my baby things. My friend and her partner are going to try and sell them through their Photography blog and webstie! I'm pretty excited about that!
